Home Office Allowance

The world of work is evolving, and we have adopted a hybrid way of working.

We want to assist you to have a comfortable and productive remote working environment. Every 3 (three) years you will receive an allowance of R 5 000.00 to spend on your remote working setup. You can spend this allowance on whatever you need to make work more comfortable remotely.

Eligibility

All full-time employees will be eligible for the Home Office Allowance after 3 (three) months of joining Glucode.

Info

This benefit is seen as a fringe benefit and SARS require that we deduct the relevant taxes.

Your nett pay for the month we pay out the benefit will show to be less when compared to previous months.

You will see the line item for the home office allowance on your pay slip under the Fringe benefit section.

The home office allowance is not an earnings line item on your payslip but will be paid to you as a separate transaction.
